On just a 5 minute walk from the train station in Enschede you will find Coffeeshop The Black Sea. In our opinion this place for sure belongs among the best coffeeshops of Enschede. Not only the location is great, but the complete experience. This shop is good choice for both take-away and for hanging out. The interior and atmosphere is very welcoming, making it a great place to chill and smoke weed.
For the cannabis menu The Black Sea might be the best in the complete region. They have really good quality weed and hash, offering a wide variety of different strains.
All of this in combination with the friendly staff makes it one of the best places to buy weed in Enschede.

Coffeeshop Thunderbird is located as well in the center city of Enschede. This coffeeshop doesn’t have a smoking area, which makes it only suitable for buying weed. But still, this will be one of the best places to go in the city when you only want to buy something.
The quality is great at Thunderbird. For cannabis they have a couple of different indica- and sativa strains, as well as some hybrid weed. Last time we’ve been here they even offered several strains from California, which you don’t come across often.
Also for hash you are at the right place, but the offer is less extensive with just a couple of sorts to pick from.

Just a walk of a minute or two from Thunderbird, you can visit Café Mix. They won some awards in 2014 and 2017 for being the best coffeeshop in Twente, so it can’t miss on our list!
The atmosphere at Café Mix is different than your usual coffeeshop. You can sit both inside and outside, very similar to a normal café. The name Mix comes from the fact that the customers and employees come from all over the world, with a mix of different cultures. Everybody is welcome at their coffeeshop, and you can feel this in the overall experience.
They do offer a pretty good weed menu as well, so for just take-away it is also a suitable place. But the real beauty of Café Mix is to hang out and relax, while playing some of the games they have available.

A bit further outside the city, next to the hospital, you can visit coffeeshop Gabriela. While they don’t have a smoking area, it is still a pretty good place to buy cannabis.
They do not offer a lot of different strains but are mainly known for the haze they sell. Always great and consistent quality for a fair price.
Another pro is that this coffeeshop is relatively easy to reach by car compared to the previously discussed places, as it is located a bit outside the center city.

Especially the lounge makes Grasshopper one of the best coffeeshops of Enschede. There is plenty of room to hang out, do some games like pooling or darts and even use their PlayStation.
For near the border Grasshopper is most likely your best choice to buy cannabis as well. Overall offering a consistent quality at fair prices. We did read some reviews about bad pre-rolls, another reason to learn how to roll a joint yourself 😉
